Chat on the YouTube using mobile app

YouTube has recently introduced the Sharing tab for the user who uses his mobile app. With this help, users can directly share a video with their contacts and chat with them privately. Apart from this, if users wish, many people can be added to the group while chatting with their wishes. YouTube had begun testing beta versions about this feature with a few select users in May last year. Right now, it has been rolled out.

Let us know how to use this feature with the help of some simple steps.

Step-1: Before you use this feature, please update the YouTube app on your Android or IOAC headset.

Step-2: After updating the app, with a Home, Trending, Subscription and Library in Bottom, a “Shared” tab will now appear. Click on this button.

Step-3: Click on the Shared tab, click the ‘View contacts’ on the top right and send the link of the invitation to the person you want to share the video with. The invitation link will appear at the bottom.

Step-4: If the person sending the invitation link will accept it, then you can share the video with private chat.

Step 5: You can add any side to it as you chat.

This feature has been started based on user feedback. This feature was rolled out to Canadian users earlier this year. Now this feature has been released to all users who use the YouTube app on the smartphone, but this feature is not currently available on the desktop version.
